At SpeakAble Speech Therapy, we strive to provide top quality speech and language services to clients of all ages in their home, workplace, daycare and school. We offer in-home services to individuals residing in Montreal and Toronto.

 

Tamara Paull M.Sc. Speech-Language Pathologist (C), Reg. CASLPO

Founder and Director of SpeakAble Speech Therapy Services

Tamara is a registered speech-language pathologist with both the College of Audiologists and Speech and Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO) and Speech-Language and Audiology Canada (SAC).  She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Linguistics from Concordia University in Montreal, and completed her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of British Columbia.

Prior to becoming an S-LP, Tamara worked for over five years as a behaviour interventionist and as a classroom aid for children with various cognitive and developmental delays. She has been practicing in the community since graduating, and works primarily with preschoolers in the areas of articulation, oral motor, expressive and receptive language and social skills.

Tamara founded SpeakAble in Toronto in 2013, and has moved back to Montreal in 2018 to expand the business to her hometown. She still manages the Toronto office and visits regularly.

Katelyn Sirrs M.Sc. Speech-Language Pathologist, Reg. CASLPO

Katelyn is a registered speech-language pathologist with the College of Audiologists and Speech and Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO), and is a certified member of Speech-Language Audiology Canada (SAC). She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences and Psychology from the University of Ottawa, and a Masters of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from McGill University. Katelyn is certified in the Hanen More Than Words program. She has experience working with both children and adults in a variety of settings. She has worked in the areas of articulation and phonology, developmental language, voice, resonance, motor speech, and aphasia. She also has experience working with clients with a variety of special needs, including but not limited to autism spectrum disorder, Down Syndrome, and cerebral palsy. Katelyn is committed to providing engaging and effective treatment to each and every one of her clients.

Samantha Berardesca M.Sc. Speech-Language Pathologist, Reg. CASLPO

Samantha Berardesca is a registered speech-language pathologist with the College of Audiologists and Speech and Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO) and is a certified member of Speech-Language and Audiology Canada (SAC). Samantha is also a Singing Voice Specialist, having been trained both as a performing artist and as a voice teacher for over a decade. She received her Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance at Dalhousie University, her Masters in Music and Music Education at Columbia University, and her Masters of Science in Speech-Language Pathology at Dalhousie University. She has clinical experience working with adults and children in the areas of articulation and phonology, developmental language, cleft palate, voice, swallowing disorders, stuttering, and aphasia across a variety of clinical settings. Samantha is dedicated to delivering creative and effective voice, speech, and language services.

 

Léa Rafih, M.P.O, Speech-Language Pathologist

Léa is a registered Speech-Language Pathologist with l’Ordre des Orthophonistes et Audiologistes du Québec (OOAQ). She graduated with a Bachelor of Science and a Professional Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from University of Montreal. She works primarily with preschoolers and school-aged children in the areas of articulation and phonology, motor speech, receptive and expressive language, social skills and written language (dyslexia). She also has clinical experience working with adults with aphasia and can work in French and English. Léa is passionate and devoted to the children and families she works with.
